Specific Guideline for Oral Presenter
All oral presentations will consist of 10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes discussion (15 minutes in maximum). Presenters are requested not to exceed the allotted time slot. It is advised that presenters prepare handouts in advance (if necessary) for the audience. The committee accepts PowerPoint Presentation (.ppt) as a general presentation format. We recommend that you submit your presentation slides to our email
abstract@wans-icinna.org 5 days prior to the event to give us ample time to save your presentations to our computer. It will also provide us the opportunity to test your presentation with the equipment that we will be using on the day. The outline of the presentation will depend on the research design utilized by the presenter. In general, the presentation should include sufficient information about:
- Research question or problem,
- Why question or problem is important,
- Methods (ways to answer the question, or examine or solve the problem),
- Results of research,
- Implication for nursing practice or further research,
- The number of slides is between 7-10 (including title and references)
Specific Guideline for Poster Presenter
The participant who presents the poster offline has to print the poster in A0 size (approximately 90x120 cm), preferably on portrait layout, and send the soft copy (jpg or png format) to email abstract@wans-icinna.org ten days prior to the event. Please be sure to bring the poster to the conference yourself, as we are unable to print it at the venue.
For participants who present the poster online, it is sufficient to email the poster with A0-size. Please include the WANS & ICINNA logo (Download Here) on the upper left of the poster. You may also add your institution's logo. The abstract title, author name(s), and the institution can be placed in large letters at the top center of the poster. The content of the poster contains the same thing as the oral presentation. Key features to include in the poster:
- Choose a clean and professional layout for your poster.
- Use legible fonts and font sizes that are easy to read from a distance.
- Maintain consistency in formatting, color scheme, and visual elements.
- Use high-quality images, graphs, charts, and tables to illustrate key points.
- Ensure all text and visuals are visible and free from errors.
- A clear, concise overview of the research paper
